In all darkness.
Even if the darkness is
physical
emotional
psychological
spiritual
interpersonal
generational
systematic
economic
political
historical
epidemic
pandemic
powerful, overwhelming
so palpable, to the point of being suffocating
Even in this, God is present.
In the midst of the book of Judges, there’s the story of Ruth
In an unjust death, there’s salvation
In the loss of faith and hope and friends, there’s the Resurrection
In the brokenness, there’s restoration
Only because God is present.
